Quintel Management Consultants is a small woman-owned business staffed by professionals from Arthur D. Little’s and A.T. Kearney’s utilities, telecommunications, and operations management practices.
Our group of consultants includes strategists, performance experts, ERP and IT specialists, economists, transaction advisors, and financial analysts. We are uniquely positioned to provide our clients the range of skills and experience required to meet the challenges of today’s market. Our firm is comprised of individuals that have both management consulting expertise and ERP implementation experience. The typical Quintel consultant has several years of ERP experience. For example, we are “Platinum” consultants in SAP terms.
Leslie Buttorff is the President of Quintel Management Consulting, Inc. which was formed in the United States and in Europe nearly 10 years ago. She has over 20 years of experience in management, marketing, consulting, technical evaluations, and financial analyses. In the last ten years her experience has been focused on operations improvement and merger integration implementations using SAP as a tool. She and her team has managed and/or overseen several SAP ERP and CCS implementations commencing 1996.
She has participated in SAP engagements internationally including Germany, Venezuela, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and Australia. Prior to forming Quintel, Ms. Buttorff was the Managing Director of Arthur D. Little’s Power and Gas Practice of the Global Energy Practice. Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Ms. Buttorff was a Vice President and Officer for the Utilities and Energy Practice of A.T. Kearney, Inc. where she was responsible for strategy, process design and SAP implementations. Prior to A.T. Kearney, she was President of EDS Management Consulting Services’ Energy, Utilities and Chemical Practices. At EDS, she had profit and loss responsibility for these industries for consulting and related outsourcing programs, and SAP implementations.
Prior to joining EDS, she was a Vice President and Denver Office Manager for Stone & Webster (working the nuclear, fossil, hydro and T&D divisions) and she also worked with Shell Oil in the E&P area. Ms. Buttorff earned an MS in Finance with an emphasis in Industrial Engineering and Statistics from Iowa State University and a BS in Statistics from Colorado State University.
Chris Compeggie is a Vice President and has managed large scale ERP system implementation projects, managed business and system improvement consulting projects, led departmental staff and facilitated cross-functional teams in the diagnosis of corporate organizational needs, the improvement of corporate business processes and the creation of developmental programs through benchmarking and process redesign techniques.
Mr. Compeggie has analyzed financial trends, forecasts and industry issues to prepare analyses of business environment impacts on the company for corporate executives, rating agencies, financial analysts and regulators. Mr. Compeggie’s experiences span electric, gas and water utilities and the resources industry. For the past seven years Mr. Compeggie has been working at several clients involving SAP implementations driven by performance improvement: Public Service Electric and Gas; Central Vermont Public Service; Energy East Corporation; New York State Electric and Gas Company; Rochester Gas & Electric Company; Southern California Edison Company; Southern CT Natural Gas; CT Natural Gas Company; Berkshire Gas Company and Central Maine Power Company. He was the project manager for all of the PM, MAM, MAU, SD and ISU-CCS SAP Module project implementations.
In addition, he was a key contributor to the implementation of all “back office” modules of SAP including: FI, CO, PS, AM, MM, TR, PY, HR and ECC. Responsibilities included the management of functional consultants in blueprinting and module configuration, ABAP programmers in enhancement and interface development, the data conversion teams and the training and subject matter expert teams.
All projects were completed on budget and on schedule with all performance metrics being met. Mr. Compeggie received his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, and graduated with merit with his BS in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Mr. Compeggie is a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in the State of Nevada.
